Hello everyone,

We’re excited to launch a new blog series as part of Together O’Fallon, designed to give you clear, behind-the-scenes insight into your library.  What’s working, where we’re feeling the squeeze, and what comes next. As our community grows, so does the demand for space, programs, and services. This series walks through those realities in a transparent, easy-to-follow way.

Start with our first post here, and stay tuned as new posts hit every Friday.
You can also follow along with future updates on our website and Facebook page.

We hope you’ll follow along, share your thoughts, and be part of the conversation as we look ahead together.

The Apothecary Diaries

Anime Series

I love The Apothecary Diaries for its compelling and heartwarming storytelling, as well as the incredible autistic representation in its main character, MaoMao. MaoMao to me is portrayed in such a loving way in the original light novel, and in the Anime. I could really see parts of myself in MaoMao, which very quickly endeared me to her. The story has a wonderful mix of intriguing mysteries, gripping drama, and a “will they, won’t they” romantic subplot that will have you kicking your feet like a schoolgirl, or sobbing your eyes out on your couch as you watch this beautiful labor of love unfold before your eyes.

Crafting for Your Cat
by Annika Hinds
Want to make a matching "fur-endship" charm necklace for you and your cat? Then check out Crafting for Your Cat! This book offers DIY projects ranging from simply repurposing household items to more difficult builds such as a kitty jungle gym. These designs will inspire you and provide enrichment to your feline friend.
It’s a fun mix of simple and more involved projects, so you can pick what fits your time and skill level. I like that a lot of the ideas use things you may already have at home, and they’re all geared toward keeping your cat entertained (and maybe a little spoiled).
