Owl About Town
Owlfred landed on a calm corner of downtown, but just like the turning leaves, change was in the air. On Saturday, October 18, the quiet will give way to the hustle and bustle of the final Vine Street Market of the season. The Harvest Festival will take over with crisp apples, cozy treats, and handcrafted fall finds. Adding to the magic, Chalk It Up to Art will showcase local talent with bold, colorful chalk creations popping up throughout the market. A fall celebration you won’t want to miss, come for the apples, stay for the art, and leave wondering how it all went by so fast.

The Lady Of The Library
By Angie Karcher
This poetic picture book tells the story of a once-bustling library that's grown quiet and worn with time. As the seasons pass, a mysterious lady continues to visit, whispering words of hope and remembrance to the shelves and stories within. Meanwhile, a young girl begins to take notice and take action. Inspired by real efforts to save historic libraries, this story gently weaves themes of preservation, community, and the lasting power of books.
