School’s Out, Summer’s Here – Let’s Level Up Together!

The wait is over summer has arrived, and so has the O’Fallon Public Library’s Summer Reading Program: Level Up at Your Library started June 1^st! This exciting, family-friendly program offers the perfect opportunity to strengthen literacy skills while making unforgettable memories. We invite you to join us for this fun-filled adventure—completely free and open to the public! Please note that some activities may have age restrictions or require registration, so be sure to check the details.

Our Summer Reading Program is about more than just reading books; it’s about embarking on a journey together. Set a family reading goal, explore favorite stories, dive into audiobooks, and discover new favorites along the way. Make reading a daily tradition and watch your family’s imagination soar!

Teen's Level Up Your Storytelling

Love telling stories or creating content? Join our 4-week teen program where you'll help write, plan, and star in your very own short video! From brainstorming scripts to building props and filming scenes, this is your chance to bring your creative ideas to life on screen.

Level Up Your Drawing

Think drawing isn’t your thing? Let’s change that! Whether you're young, young at heart, or somewhere in between, come explore your creative side. We'll cover simple drawing techniques and give you plenty of time to sketch, doodle, and have fun. No experience needed—just bring your curiosity and a love for making art!

Back with a buzz — Owlfred couldn’t resist a stop at the O’Fallon Garden Club! He made a bee-line to their blooming gardens and buzzing apiary, where he marveled at the bees and their sweet handiwork. Ever the nature lover, he soaked up the sights, scents, and good company. Whether you're a fan of flora, fauna, or feathered friends, Owlfred says this is one stop you won’t want to miss.

Kid's Level Up Your Storytelling

Love telling stories or being in front of the camera? Join our 4-week content creation program for kids ages 8–12! Participants will work together to write a script, design props, plan scenes, and film a short video starring themselves! It’s a fun, hands-on way to explore storytelling, creativity, and teamwork.

Mountain Mayhem Robotics Camp

Join the Metool Brigade 108, O'Fallon Township High School's robotics team and 2025 Central Illinois Regional finalists, for the Mountain Mayhem Robotics Camp! Campers will use XRP robots and take on a pre-designed mountain-themed challenge that tests their coding skills, creativity, and teamwork! Guided by experienced members of Team 108, participants will learn the basics of programming and robotics in a fun, hands-on environment.

Crochet Class

Looking for a fun and creative way to unwind? Teens ages 13–18 are invited to join us for two hands-on crochet sessions! Learn the basics from starting a magic circle to stitching in the round and create your very own stress ball. No experience needed, and all materials are provided. Just bring your creativity and get ready to stitch, shape, and chill!
